My husband recommends buying 100% Agave Tequila, like Espolon Tequila Blanco. Use your favorite tequila in this recipe as well. The lime shaped or plastic bottles are typically NOT 100% lime juice, and the flavor is too bitter. Ensure that the lime juice that you buy is 100% lime (usually it’s in a glass bottle). You can either freshly squeeze some limes yourself, or use this bottled lime juice. Fresh squeezed would be best, but it’s a little more work (and I like the shortcut of a bottle of OJ myself).
